Mike Cox

Principal Lending Manager - President

 

Mike was married in 2003 to his wife, Michelle,  and they live in West Jordan with their 3 daughters. Outside of running a company, Mike and his family enjoy traveling to other cities and enjoy camping in Southern Utah; including an annual family reunion in Lake Powell and the Goblin Valley State Park area.

 

Mike speaks Spanish fluently which he learned as a missionary in Central America during 2000-2002. Mike has been involved in many different businesses that help him have a greater understanding of business and the importance of taking care of people.  

 

Mike attended college at Salt Lake Community College where he played Volleyball with the club team for two years, he served as the Captain of the team for one of those years.  Mike tries very hard to stay active through sports and exercise. Mike has recently taken up competition downhill skiing and hopes to compete at a higher level. 

 

Mike has been in the mortgage business for over 10 years and in 2011 he organized and opened Emperiq Financial.  This has allowed him to ensure his clients, friends, and family have the experience they deserve when it comes to home lending.  

 

When Mike was asked what he loves most about working in this industry he said: "Everyday I get to meet wonderful people that are trying to get somewhere in their life, and it is my privilege to do the best I can to help them get where they want to go. My goal is to make their life better simply by knowing me.
